What is Kalodata?
Kalodata is a TikTok Shop analytics tool: it tracks product, creator, video and livestream sales data so sellers, affiliates and dropshippers can see what is actually selling before they commit money to it. It is paid software, starting around $40-60 a month, and our verified code cuts that by 10% monthly or up to 40% on annual plans. Here is the short, honest version of what it does and who it is for.
What Kalodata does
Kalodata tracks TikTok Shop sales data and turns it into rankings and dashboards. Instead of scrolling the For You page hoping to spot a trend, you search a category and see which products sold the most in the last 7, 30 or 90 days, which creators pushed them, and which videos or livestreams drove the sales.
It is a research tool, not a selling tool. It does not list products for you, run ads, or contact creators. It tells you what is working so you can decide what to sell, who to work with, and what kind of content to make.
- Products — estimated revenue, units, price, commission rate, growth trend.
- Creators — sales per creator, follower size, average GPM, products they promote.
- Videos — which clips sold the most, with the product and creator attached.
- Livestreams — top streams by revenue, duration and peak viewers.
- Shops — top sellers by category and region, plus their best products.
Who actually uses it
Four groups get most of the value. TikTok Shop sellers use it to check demand before ordering stock. Dropshippers use it to find products that are already proven on TikTok before testing them elsewhere. Affiliates and creators use it to find high-commission products with a track record of converting. Agencies and brands use it to shortlist creators who actually sell rather than just get views.
If you are none of those — for example you sell only on Amazon or Etsy — Kalodata will not help much. It is TikTok Shop data, full stop.
How Kalodata gets its data
Kalodata is not owned by TikTok or ByteDance and has no special API access. It collects public data at scale — product pages, shop listings, video and live view counts, creator profiles — and models estimated sales from it. That is why the numbers are estimates, not official figures. In practice they track real performance closely enough for research, but you should treat them as directional, not as accounting. We cover this in more detail in Is Kalodata accurate and worth it?.
What GPM means (and why it matters)
GPM is 'GMV per mille': the sales revenue generated per 1,000 video views. A creator with 50,000 views and $2,000 in sales has a GPM of $40. It is the single most useful metric in the tool because it separates creators who get views from creators who move product. High GPM means the audience buys; low GPM with high views means entertainment, not commerce.
You will also see 'creator conversion ratio' and similar fields. They all answer the same question from a different angle: does this creator's traffic turn into orders?
Is Kalodata only for TikTok?
Yes. Kalodata covers TikTok Shop in the markets where TikTok Shop operates — the US, UK, Southeast Asia and a growing list of others. It does not cover Instagram, YouTube Shopping, Amazon or Shopify stores. If you need cross-platform data, you need a second tool.
What it costs
Kalodata is a paid subscription with a short free trial. Plans are priced per region and there are three tiers, roughly Basic, Standard and Enterprise. The full breakdown is in How much does Kalodata cost?. If you want to try it before paying, read Is Kalodata free? first.
When you do subscribe, apply the current promo code at checkout — it takes 10% off monthly and up to 40% off annual plans. The code and its last-verified date are on the Kalodata coupon page.
